C.2.2 Install the New Power Supply

To install the new power supply, do these steps:

Visually inspect the exposed SSPA heat sink for any debris or blockage. Use compressed air to clean

and clear as needed.

Visually inspect both the SSPA and power supply connector for cleanliness or damage. Clean and

correct as required.

Inspect the gasket for damage. Replace as required.

Install the power supply onto the SSPA. Make sure that the guide pins and connection are properly

aligned. Gently press to engage the connector.

Tighten the four captive fasteners where shown previously in Figure C-1.

Be sure to use an appropriate screwdriver, such as the one provided

with the SSPA, to avoid damaging the fasteners.

Reconnect the HPOD SSPA to its power source.
